More Parking Needed in Olean!

HI Church Family!

We are keenly aware of our increasing need for additional parking at our Olean Campus.  This has been discussed in detail several times during the past two years.  As you know we own the empty lot across Delevan Ave from the church and believe this would be an ideal location for additional parking.

We have received several quotes for this project and are currently working on gaining approval from the City of Olean. The proposed parking area would provide an additional 35 parking spaces.  This would also allow us to increase the number of handicap spaces we currently offer at our Main Street entrance.  The estimated cost is $15-20,000.

During the next several weeks we will mention the project at church and accept pledges towards the cost.  On June 8th the Governing Board will review the pledges and a decision will be made shortly thereafter as to whether or not we’re able to go forward with the project at this time.

We view this to be a very important project that would benefit everyone in our church; therefore, we ask that you prayerfully consider how you might be a part of this.  Please do not feel pressured to give, but if you do decide to pledge, we encourage you to do so above your regular tithe.  Our decision to move forward with the project will greatly depend on the pledges received.

You may have already received a pledge card in the mail, if not you can pick one up this week at church, they will be in the bulletins.  Pledge cards can be placed in the offering plate, mailed or dropped off at the office.  Pledges should be mailed 450 N. Highland Ave. Wellsville, NY 14895.  (Please note: we are not receiving money at this time.)

If you have questions, please see Pastor Andy or Eber.  May God lead us forward in this important project.
