Need to Know for the week of February 14th, 2016

  • VALENTINES DINNER TONIGHT
If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, you can still do so today after church.  Tonight’s Valentine’s dinner starts at 5:30; tickets are $20/couple; live music and great food; all proceeds go to sponsor this summer’s student camp!
  • MISSION MOMENT
The Eikosts and their Colleagues are organizing a young couples retreat in March. They need sponsors for these couples and CrossTown Alliance has offered to sponsor 3 couples, one per campus, at $250 per couple. They are newlyweds and it will help them get off to a strong start in their marriage. All the couples are from local churches. If there is enough founds, it will be open for them to invite an unsaved couple to join them!  Please consider giving to this special cause—a little by everyone goes along way to helping these couples start their marriage strong.  If you choose to, please mark your gift ‘young couples retreat’ on your offering envelop.

  • MEMBERSHIP CLASS AND LUNCH—FEB 28 AND MARCH 6
On Sunday, February 28th or March 6, following the service, we will host a Lunch and brief Class for anyone interested in learning more about membership at CrossTown.  Prior to attending this class you will need to watch the membership class videos: crosstownallaince.com/membership.  Once you are finished with the videos, fill out the form to reserve your spot.
  • RENOVATION UPDATE
Renovations are almost complete in Wellsville, but we ask you to please SAVE THE DATE—  Saturday, March 5th we will be having our last work day.  We need lots of help moving the final pews, tearing up carpet, and setting up temporary seating before the new chairs are delivered the following week.  Let us know on your connection card or contact the office if you’re able to help.  We greatly appreciate it!
  • SEEDS FOR CHILDREN 4YRS THRU 4TH GRADE
SEEDS is our midweek small group program for kids 4 yrs through 4th grade.  Your kids will love learning more about the Bible and applying it to their life.  This program is designed to get your kids interacting with God’s Word at a young age.  6–7:30PM (adult small groups also available during this time).
  • RISEN THE MOVIE
The movie Risen is coming to theaters near you on February 19th.  What’s so special about RISEN? It begins at the cross and explores the great manhunt that followed, through the eyes of the Roman soldier Clavius, a non–believer.  Consider inviting friends, family, and non–believers to see the film with you.
