Need to Know for the week of May 22nd, 2016

Please make plans to join us next Sunday at the Arcade Campus for one combined worship service (10:45AM). Following the service, we will head over to the Arcade Fire Hall for some food, fellowship, and the always-popular CrossTown Campus Challenge! This CrossTown Together Day will feature FREE CHICKEN BARBECUE!!! If you’re able to, the Olean and Wellsville campuses have been asked to bring a side-dish or dessert.

VBS is right around the corner and we need your help! Please consider signing up to volunteer on the clipboard that is being passed around during the service. On the back of each clipboard is a description of the various volunteer roles, so that you know what you’re signing up for. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Also, be sure to include your t-shirt size.

Our next VBS workday for Wellsville and Olean is this Saturday, May 28th from 9:00AM—2:00PM (at the campus you attend). The Arcade campus will have their workday on Saturday, June 4th (also 9-2). We will be working on finishing up decorations for this year’s VBS.

Join us June 5th and 6th for our mission conference where our special guests will be Mark and Kathy Eikosts from Bosnia-Herzegovina. Here’s the schedule (please consider coming to the other campuses as well during these two days)

Sunday June 5th @ 9 am and 10:45 am at the Wellsville Campus. Mark will be sharing during the service followed by a dish to pass lunch at Noon in the fellowship hall.

Sunday June 5th @ 6 pm at the Olean Campus. Worship followed by Kathy speaking to the ladies and Mark to the men. Refreshment to follow!

Monday June 6th @ 6 pm at the Arcade Campus. Dish to pass Dinner followed by Mark and Kathy’s presentation!

There are several ways that you can be praying for your church family. First, please take a prayer sheet each week to pray for the requests indicated on the connection cards. Second, set your alarm to 10:02 and pray Luke 10:2 (the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few, therefore pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers). Third, consider signing up for the prayer chain so that you can submit requests and pray for requests throughout the week. Simply email Fran Merry at

If you are looking for a very practical way to serve your church family and keep the building clean, consider signing up on your connection card to be a cleaner. Many hands make for light work and clean buildings!
