Andy Hall

HELLO, I’M ANDY…I’m the Campus Pastor in Olean. My main role is discipleship, organizing and leading small groups, leading worship, and supporting our Lead Pastor.  I also preach when Pastor Jeremy needs a break.  Here’s a little more about me.

BASIC STUFF: I was born in Forestville, NY near Fredonia and grew up in the surrounding area.  I went to Fredonia State College where I met my wife Alyssa who was leading worship in the Christian Fellowship group on campus.  We were married shortly after and moved to Wellsville, NY to work at Gil’s Hills Ministries while I was attending Alfred State College for Landscape Development.  I have run my own landscaping business since high school.

FAMILY: Alyssa and I were married on July 17th, 1999.  The Lord has blessed us with five amazing children.  We have four boys and one girl.  Kirkland, Grace, Carter, Elisha and Christian.

SPORTS TEAMS: I used to like the Bills…

HOBBIES: I love reading the Bible and books about the Bible; tending my farm (we have a small farm with horses, cows, goats, pigs and chickens, not to mention cats and a dog).  I also enjoy coaching youth wrestling in Portville with my kids.

FAVORITE PLACES:  Home on the farm with my family

FAVORITE PLACES: Renna’s Pizza/Mio Gelatos, Outback Steakhouse, Olive Garden, and Chipotle

TV SHOWS: The Office, Parks and Recreation, Fringe

MOVIES: Braveheart, Gladiator, Lord of the Rings, Tommy Boy

MUSIC: I love worship music especially when it is theologically sound:  Sovereign Grace Music, Hillsong, Chris Tomlin

DISLIKES: False teachers and the misuse of Scripture

WHAT I DID BEFORE BECOMING THE CAMPUS PASTOR: I have been self-employed as a Landscape Contractor for 14 years.  During this time I was also a Worship Leader and Teaching Elder at Obi Community Church.

LIFE VERSE: Very difficult to narrow down to one… so I’ll pick two!

2 Timothy 2:10, “For this reason I endure all things for the sake of those who are chosen, so that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus and with it eternal glory.”

Ephesians 2:8-10, “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”
