Eber Kinne

HELLO, I’M EBER…I’m the Ministry Coordinator at the Olean Campus. My main role is to oversee our children and student ministry programs.  I also help all of our Campus Pastors organize and lead the outreach projects that we do in the community.  Here is a little more about me.

BASIC STUFF: I was born in Jamestown, NY and grew up in the surrounding area. I met my wife Jennifer at Bethany Camp in 1990 as a camper between my Junior and Senior years of HS. I attended Practical Bible College in Johnson City, NY (now known as Davis College). Jennifer and I were married in 1995 while I was still in college and we lived in the Binghamton area for several years. While there I served as a youth pastor at Calvary Community Church from 1997-2001. We then moved back to the Olean area and I worked in a factory for awhile before God opened a door at Obi Community Church to serve as the Student Ministries Director which became the Family Pastor of the church from 2007-2014. In the Fall of 2014, we started attending CrossTown Olean and God opened the door to come on as part of the the team here at CrossTown.

FAMILY: Jennifer and I were married June 3, 1995. The Lord has blessed us with 4 awesome children, (2 boys and 2 girls)  Micah, Isaac, Eve and Claire.

SPORTS TEAMS: Dallas Cowboys, Los Angles Lakers, New York Mets

HOBBIES: I enjoy reading my Bible with a cup of coffee in the morning.  I also love meeting others for coffee to connect and develop relationships.  I also like to do woodworking when I have the time.  Cutting firewood for the family is also enjoyable.

FAVORITE PLACES: Home with the family or vacations to the Outer Banks of NC with family and friends.

TV SHOWS: NCIS, Scorpion, Sleepy Hollow and Football!

MOVIES: Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, Fun with Dick and Jane, Avengers

MUSIC: Third Day, Cast Crowns, Jeremy Camp, Rend Collective.

DISLIKES: People who lie to me.

LIFE VERSE: Matthew 5:16, “Let you light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”

Colossians 3:17, “Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.”
