Jeremy Gorham

HELLO, I’M JEREMY . . . I’m the lead pastor.  My main role is to lead and feed.  I provide leadership and vision for the church and I am usually the person who shares the message on Sunday mornings.  Here’s a little more about me:

BASIC STUFF: I was born in Lockport, NY and grew up most of my life in Wilson, NY.  I went to Houghton College where I got a scholarship to play basketball, and eventually met my wife Erin.  I graduated with a degree in Bible and Educational Ministries.  After college I became a youth pastor at a church in Wellsville.

FAMILY: My wife Erin and I were married on August 10th, 2003.  We have been blessed with four amazing boys (Ayden, Ethan, Owen and Josiah).  I would also like you to know I’m the undisputed wrestling champion of the Gorham household!  I hope to have this title for another few years while the boys are still smaller than me 🙂

SPORTS TEAMS: Duke Blue Devils, Buffalo Bills

HOBBIES: Playing basketball, editing family videos, and wrestling with my sons

FAVORITE PLACES: Florida Keys and basically anywhere my family is.

FAVORITE RESTAURANTS: Chipotle, Theos’ Family Restaurant (Arcade), Oishi Sushi and Hibachi (Olean), and the famous Texas Hot (Wellsville)!

TV SHOWS: “24″, Criminal Minds, ESPN’s PTI and First Take.

FAVORITE MOVIES: Karate Kid 1, 2, and 3.  And no, I did not like, “The Next Karate Kid” They should have stopped at number 3.

MUSIC: I love all kinds of Christian music: Hillsong, Chris Tomlin, Rend Collective, Vertical Church Band, Elevation Worship.

DISLIKES:  Clutter;  I like my office and my home to be clean and organized (which half the time it is not)

WHAT I DID BEFORE BECOMING A LEAD PASTOR: I was a youth pastor for 3 1/2 years in Wellsville (’03-’06) and then a media pastor for 3 years in Texas. As a media pastor I was in charge of creating websites, graphics and videos for our church.

LIFE SCRIPTURE: Micah 6:8, “He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
