HELLO, I’M JON…I’m the Wellsville Campus Pastor. My main job is to care for and equip the people of CrossTown Wellsville. I’m also in charge of organizing and leading our small group ministry. Here’s a little more about me.
BASIC STUFF: I was born in Springville, NY and grew up in the Salamanca area. I gave my life to Christ when I was seventeen and always felt called into ministry. I have four siblings, three sisters and one brother. Their names are Kimberly, Olivia, Jacob, and Charlie.
FAMILY: Nicole and I were married on September 25th, 2010. God has blessed our home with two amazing little guys, Noah, who is the oldest, and Emmet.
SPORTS TEAMS: I love to watch football, baseball, hockey, and college basketball. My favorite teams are the Packers, Yankees, Sabres, and Kentucky Wildcats!
HOBBIES: Other than reading and studying the Bible I love hanging out with friends and family, anything outside such as sports and camping, and making up silly songs to sing to Nicole and the boys.
FAVORITE PLACES: Anywhere with friends and family!
FAVORITE RESTAURANTS: Sprague’s, Texas Hot’s, Beef and Barrel, Pizza King, Mia Gelatos, Outback, Red Robin, and Mickey’s.
TV SHOWS: Myth-busters, Shark week, Grimm, old cartoons such as He-Man, Superman, Hannah Barbara cartoons, Ninja Turtles (the original), Thundercats.
MOVIES: Gladiator, Lord of the Rings, most Chris Farley movies, anything DreamWorks such as Kung Fu Panda, How to Train your Dragon etc.
MUSIC: Lots. I mainly listen to praise and worship music, but I also enjoy some 80s and 90s along with classic rock and modern folk.
DISLIKES: Scripture taken out of context, fish sticks/fish fry, musicals, and rap music.
WHAT I DID BEFORE BECOMING THE CAMPUS PASTOR: I have worked in multiple job fields. I have worked in in hospitality and guest services, customer service, retail, and at our former church I was the Director of Community Groups.
LIFE VERSES: 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is ja new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
Philippians 3:12, “Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own.”
