HELLO I’M NATHAN…I’m the Worship Leader in Arcade. I organize the worship songs for the worship team and lead the people of CrossTown Arcade into worship through song. Here’s a little more about me…
BASIC STUFF: I was raised in Allegany, NY and graduated from Allegany-Limestone Central in 2001. I grew up attending the Five Mile Baptist church, and later on joined the worship team at Obi Community Church in Obi, NY. I started taking guitar lessons when I was 15, and since then I have learned other instruments as well including banjo, mandolin, piano, and ukulele. I’m also a singer-songwriter, and spent a lot of 2005/2006 doing some traveling and playing as a Christian artist. I love music!
FAMILY STUFF: I come from a large musical family with 7 siblings total. I also have a 6 year old daughter named Lydia.
SPORTS TEAMS: Buffalo Bills!!!
HOBBIES: I enjoy just about anything outdoors; hiking, camping, fishing, canoeing. Besides music, I also really enjoy history, woodworking, and writing.
FAVORITE PLACES: I love Louisiana and I love western North Carolina!
TV SHOWS: I don’t really watch tv, but I enjoy documentaries and prank shows.
MOVIES: The Last of the Mohicans, almost any accurate historical movie, and of course the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies.
MUSIC: Acoustic, folk, bluegrass, and worship!
DISLIKES: I really really dislike Chapstick, sour cream, and Alfredo sauce.
WHAT I ALSO DO BESIDES LEADING WORSHIP: I also work as an after school program coordinator for Literacy West in the Belfast school teaching S.T.E.M.
LIFE VERSE: Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
