The angel in Luke 24:5 says, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?” The story of Easter, and the lesson of the first beatitude is, it’s not until you actually admit that you’re broke; that you’re in spiritual poverty, that you find life. I.E. It’s not until you’re dead, that you can have a resurrection!
