The Heart Of Christ

It’s easy for us to fall into the mentality that God is either disappointed with us, or has completely given up on us, because of our failures.  We know what Christ has done for us―but do we really understand the heart of Jesus towards sinners who stumble.  In Matthew 11, there is this famous verse where Jesus describes himself as being “gentle and lowly in heart”, longing for his people to find rest in Him.

So, if you find yourself weary and worn-out, perhaps even frustrated and burnt-out…if you find yourself longing for true rest for your battered soul then make plans to join us next week for the start of our new message series, The Heart of Christ.  It’s going to be an awesome series where we dive deep into the passages of Scripture that speak of Christ’s love for sinners and encouragement to believers who need some extra strength for their journey toward heaven.
