Don't expect to pass the class when you fail the only test the teacher gives. Similarly, if the Ten Commandments were the test, we'd all fail our only class. We need a savior. Like the bronze serpent in Numbers 21 was looked upon for healing of the Israelites - so is Jesus, the Son of Man, lifted upon the cross so that anyone who looks to Him will be healed.
